I have been in the apprenticeship program for 1 year and 3 months at Bascom Truck and Auto. This apprenticeship program has helped me in many ways but just to name a few it has helped me excel by surrounding me with mechanics that have years of real-world experience that has pushed me to succeed. The knowledge from the course work along with day-to-day challenges has made me a better technician and allowed me the opportunity to do the thing I love and support my family! This opportunity in the apprenticeship program has provided me with an opening into this field that has quite literally fast tracked me. When I started this program, I didn’t know what was in store for me or how long it would take to get to where I am but thanks to this program, it’s allowed me to do amazing things such as changing clutches, working on hydraulic systems, diagnosing electrical issues, and doing many other maintenance procedures that takes care of our day-to-day customers. I would recommend this apprenticeship program over any other if someone asked me. This program allows for both the real-world experience with the course work all in one.  –Rylin Gullion
