Are you compassionate and enjoy making a difference in the lives of others? If so, Western Home Communities is seeking to add a Home Health Caregiver to join our growing team. This individual will provide in-home care services for our clients. Your position is fairly independent and your day will include traveling to client(s) homes to assist our clients with specific tasks in helping to maintain their independence in their home. You are your clients’ hero as you action decisions and deploy innovative solutions to positively impact lives each day.
Requirements of a Caregiver:
(Required) Must have a valid Driver’s License
(Required) You must have a reliable vehicle and active vehicle insurance, as you will be responsible for travel to the client’s home
Do not need to be a CNA for this role, although it is encouraged
(Required) Must be willing and able to perform hands-on cares
Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain
Will be working independently, so must be a self-starter and able to move from one task to another
Responsibilities of a Caregiver:
Provide in-home care with the support of engaged and experienced team members
Provide our clients with assistance of daily living needs including personal care, meal preparation, home tidiness, and more
Provide physical support as needed for clients including daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, -using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
Assist with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, running errands, grocery shopping, and other assigned tasks.
Help maintain a safe environment for those we serve
Promptly responds to client needs and takes appropriate action, calling the office staff as needed with questions, concerns, etc.
