Christian Gray started Apprenticeship America in 2020.
Working in the Iowa House of Representatives, I quickly learned that the cost of education was a major contributing factor to the workforce shortage and that government and legacy institutions could not move at the speed industry needed.
It was clear that a “toll free bridge” needed to be built to connect untapped talent to the skills they need and the employers who needed them.
Apprenticeship America is that bridge.

At Apprenticeship America, our mission is to create alternative career pathways for students, addressing the workforce shortages that many manufacturing companies are currently facing. By leveraging our unique apprenticeship model, we provide students with hands-on training and real-world experience in the manufacturing sector. This not only helps students secure stable, rewarding careers but also ensures that manufacturing companies have access to a steady stream of skilled, diverse talent.
Through our programs, we aim to bridge the gap between education and employment, fostering economic mobility and strengthening the manufacturing workforce.
